Yes, $18 for deodorant and yes I bought it. I bought this a few months ago and it was one of my if I'm going to do this clean beauty thing I'm going all out purchases. Same logic that lead me to buy Tom's toothpaste.... when did I start becoming a hippie!? Okay getting back to the review, I have never been a super sweaty person. Yes if working out our its a million degrees out I will get sweaty but otherwise I think I'm less sweaty then normal. Lucky me right! So my requirements for deodorant have been 1) smell yummy and 2) no white marks. So I started with smell and picked out the grapefruit vanilla scent, same as my perfume (see previous review) and paid my $18 and hoped that no white marks followed. Well there are still some white marks if i throw a shirt on right after applying but otherwise it does seem to be less often then with my dove or secret deodorant did before. One thing about this that took some getting used to is it almost feels wet when I put it on. But I have a feeling on a good hot morning its going to feel super refreshing, plus after using the product for over a month I hardly notice the wetness. And as I am writing this my partner in crime just pointed out that today was a day filled with car washing and 85 degree weather, and asked how this head up. Answer, amazing! It worked so well that I wasn't even worried that I had sweat marks or about smelling, woohoo!! Overall I would definitely purchase this again even at $18 a pop.
